"There's no such thing as a pit bull" according to a lawyer for the Ontario government during yesterday's remedy arguments.  This was stated quite emphatically after the barrister kept tripping over his own feet during the hearing, which lasted about 2-1/2 hours in total.

It's taken three years, but I guess it's finally sinking in that this whole 'pit bull' thing is a crock.

Clayton Ruby was great, the courtroom was crowded and I feel pretty good about how things went.

We have to wait for the final decision on Bryant's unconstitutional law.  We don't know when it might come down, so hang in there and protect your dogs.

I thought 'pit bulls' were 'loaded guns' - er - 'automatic weapons'.  No wait, weren't they 'ticking time bombs'? 

I'm almost as confused as the Fiberals, dammit.

McGrunty is another one who likes to rush to comment on a tragedy, usually with some half-baked, over-the-top statement such as that cars are 'loaded guns' in an attempt to get the cheap seats whistling and stamping their feet.

The Fibs are as ghoulish as the hacks in the mainstream media, which takes some serious effort.

Maybe McGuinty just noticed that nearly 500 people were killed in car accidents in Southern Ontario last year.

I guess he and his 'droids have been too busy looking for jackalopes leprechauns unicorns 'pit bulls' to notice what's really happening out there.

Chico Bandido discusses California's latest walk down Crazy Lane and how it will cause the death of the mixed breed dog.

I'd go further and call it the death of the domestic dog, since I have a funny feeling very few breeders will get permits and only certain breeds will be allowed to reproduce legally.
