The Attorney General is uncharacteristically quiet this week.

Maybe it's because of this.

Maybe it's time the others stopped pulling stuff off the wire* and started doing some reporting.

Kind of makes you wonder who owns what though, doesn't it?

UPDATE 9:35 am Mar 17 - The FDA has info about Iams and Eukanuba on their site: http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/pg03_07.html .  There's nothing on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency site yet.

UPDATE  8:45 am Mar 17:  CTVNewsNet mentioned Iams, Eukanuba and Purina on their show this morning.  I don't see those brands on the list at MenuFoods so I'm not sure if it's true.

Menu Foods, based in Ontario with plants in the US, is recalling its 'cuts and gravy' foods for dogs and cats.

Information about the actual products being recalled will be on the company's website at 6:00 am Saturday, March 17.

One of the dogs in the horrific Florida incident wasn't a 'pit bull'.  Apparently it was a Chow.
